Displaying an image gallery in slideshow view

A slideshow automatically scrolls through a gallery of images at the industry standard and WDS approved rate of 7000 milliseconds per image, as opposed to an image gallery which is all viewable on one page with thumbnails and clickable images.

  • You need to create an image gallery before you can create a slideshow
  • A slideshow is another view, or component, of an image gallery
  • The slideshow is a "cousin" of the Spotlight News Rotator; if you are familiar with that widget, the slideshow is similar
