Course information is imported/pulled from the Office of the Registrar's database. It cannot be entered or edited within the Template website.

In the administration bar, click Manage and then Content.

Click on the Courses Import tab.

You will see the Import Dashboard page. This displays the list of created migration groups to be imported. There is not a pre-configured migration group out of the box. If this is your first time doing an import, you need to create one.

To create a new migration

Note: If you are using the courses module, you must follow these steps EACH SEMESTER to display course content for the new semester.

  1. Click the Import from Registrar’s feed tab
  2. Select the Academic Term
  3. Click the Next button
  4. Select the subjects you want to import
  5. Click the Next button
  6. Review selected subjects
  7. Click Save import settings

You will see 4 migration tasks (Instructors, Subjects, Courses, Cross-listings) – they all are course content to be imported.

To import courses immediately

  1. Check all tasks in the list
  2. Select Import operation
  3. Click Execute

To remove imported courses select Rollback operation.

To remove migration settings select Remove import settings operation.
